WHO WE ARE
The McCausland Hospital's Long-Term Care project is a proposed 22-bed facility that will service the residents of our catchment area.
Through the overwhelming generosity of our catchment area, the Project has raised $1.6 million of a $2.75 million fund raising campaign. Our mandate is to provide our community with the right care in the right place at the right time.
The McCausland Hospital is a charitable organization.
WAYS TO GIVE
Tribute Gifts (click here for form): This type of gift is the perfect way to honour a special occasion such as the birth of a baby, birthday, anniversary or simply express your appreciation to someone special. The Hospital sends a tribute letter and/or card to the individual being honoured. A tax receipt is also issued in your name.
Memorial Gifts (click here for form): Memorial gifts honour the memory of a loved one or friend who has passed away. An in-memorial card will be forwarded to the next-of-kin which acknowledges the gift received.
Planned Gifts: Each year, the McCausland Hospital is grateful to receive donations from people who really cared for our community and hospital. The hospital complies with all donations that have been designated through a person's WILL or estate plan.
Monthly Giving - By pledging to our Monthly Giving Program, you can make a difference in the future of a well balanced healthcare system in a local setting.
The Monthly Giving program allows the donor to make a predetermined monthly contribution which can be withdrawn automatically from your bank account or charged to Visa or Mastercard.
There are many benefits to you, the donor:
- You can predetermine the monthly amount withdrawn from your bank account or credit card
- You receive one tax receipt at the end of each calendar year
- You can adjust and/or cancel your monthly pledge at any time by contacting the hospital
- Your monthly donation will add up over the year and make a valuable contribution to the Long-Term Care Project
- You can predetermine the length of your contribution (1 year, 2 or 3)

What methods of payment do you accept for donations?
Cheque; money order; credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or cash
When an "in-memoriam" or in Honour" gift is made, is the amount of the donation disclosed?
We do not disclose gift amounts; however, we can supply the families with a list of who has made donations in memory of their loved one.
Will the McCausland Hospital send out cards in memory of an individual?
Yes. We have many donors who make gifts in honour or in memory of friends and loved ones. When you make such a gift, a card will be sent to the individual being honoured or to their designated family member to acknowledge your generous donation.
