Diagnostic Imaging Services
The Diagnostic Imaging Department in the McCausland Hospital is current and modern. We work closely as part of the Health Care Team in the Hospital.
Our department is on Regional PACS, we have Computed Radiography, and we have an integrated Information System with the region. In addition to all routine imaging studies, the Technologists here preform gastric studies including Barium Enemas, GI's and Small Bowel follow through. This saves people in our catchment area from having to travel or wait for tests elsewhere.
Our technologists receive extra training to perform a variety of diagnostic testing including audiograms, ECG's, pulmonary function tests, Holter Monitors and Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitors. We also assist physicians with the Cardiac Stress Tests on the treadmill. All of this makes for a varied and interesting work life.
Our Ultrasound department offers Abdominal, Pelvic, OB, Doppler Leg Vein and Small Part Studies.
A technologist certified in both X-Ray and Ultrasound is an asset to the Diagnostic Department.

8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
